Driven by data, Kodak Alaris has made a shift in business: from helping digitise physical records to offering information management services to companies. Being an independent, global technology, the company is an offshoot of the parent brand, Eastman Kodak.
Vivek Naidu, vice-president, information management at Kodak Alaris said, “What we are seeing is data chaos, with vital, but unstructured data coming in from various sources including social media. Our job is to help enterprises use the data coming out of the data chaos, classify and ingest it.”
The company will soon become an end-to-end provider enabling firms with enterprise content management and customer experience management. According to Naidu, Kodak Alaris has been growing at a steady rate of 10% in India, with the India office overseeing operations in the SAARC region.
Kodak Alaris has entered a partnership with nearly 175 companies like HP and TCS to reach out to large enterprises. The company also uses an IT reseller network instead of direct engagement to connect with small and mid-size firms.
